Women's reproductive freedom is less now after multiple marches on DC. The recent inauguration day march barely got any media attention.
Nurses see the results of back alley abortions, of misogynist limits to obstetric care. Too many women get medical care that is corrupted by politics.

As a profession with a significant number of females, you could be a powerful force is helping the women of America.
Important legislation needed now.
1. National Voting Rights Legislation
2. Abortion Rights and Women’s Reproductive Health laws
3. National Assault Weapons Ban and better gun restrictions
4. Social Security placed on a firm financial footing.
The legislation exists to accomplish these goals, and 75% of Americans want these laws to happen. Congress never votes on them. Financial interests rule the government. Legislators ignore women's marches because they listen to lobbyists that pay for their re-election campaigns.
Aviation fuel in America is a $430 bil. per year industry. Thousands of cancelled flights means jet fuel sales drop. A dent in sales will catch airline CEO's attention.
Teachers not in the classroom ..... people have to stay home from work to tend their children. There goes worker productivity. The ripple effect across the economy, again less gasoline sales, etc.
First, don't worry, a nursing strike means elective surgeries stop. FYI, death rates go down when doctors strike in a city. Health care in America is a huge business. Delays in medical care trigger big emotions. People will demand that their representatives fix the situation. Even Republicans and their families need health care.
Other national voices speaking up would help.
There are women who command a national audience I encourage them to lend their voices.
Oprah Winfrey Michelle Obama Taylor Swift
Kamala Harris Rachel Maddow Ellen Degeneres
Angelina Jolie Beyonce Knowles Dolly Parton
Maura Healy ...and others
